We were a walk in, place was absolutely packed! Amazing atmosphere and food, great selection of drinks. The food was delicious, very beautifully presented and quite a different experience. The owner was present and greeting guests and making sure all their needs were looked after, really lovely guy.
Delicious pasta and great service! Hayden was very friendly and made the experience even better. The food was fresh and tasty. A really good place to enjoy Italian pasta. I will come back!
A very popular eatery and it is justified. Every dish was packed with flavour and beautifully balanced. The best tiramisu I’ve had in a long time! Welcoming and efficient service. I will be returning to try out other dishes. Recommend booking ahead. Plenty of public parking across the road. Returned and this time stand out dishes were the pork hock and the panna cotta is divine!
I really enjoyed the food here, especially the focaccia bread! It's the best I've had so far and I highly recommend it. The ravioli was also done really well! The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
Exceeded expectations! This modest little spot doesn’t try too hard — and it doesn’t need to. While the space is a bit tight, it adds to the cosy, authentic vibe, and we didn’t mind it at all. We ordered the focaccia, agria potatoes, pici with beef cheeks, prawn ravioli, and tiramisu. Every dish was beautifully presented, with perfectly balanced portions and extraordinary flavours. The fresh pasta is absolutely to die for. Do not sleep on the focaccia — it’s fresh, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and seasoned to perfection. The tiramisu is also a must-try — I’ve had my fair share, and this is truly one of the best I’ve tried in Auckland. Not too sweet, with just the right hit of coffee and rum. Service was also top-notch. The staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. Can’t wait to come back!
What’s taking me this long to try out at our local pasta shop Bianca? Because it’s TOO popular, almost all the time. We had a super late dinner (kiwi standard, not Italian standard of course) at 8:30pm to be able to secure a table for a special occasion. I give 10/10 for lamb shoulder rotolo and beef cheek baked cavatelli. And shall I say more (see photos) - finish your meal up with the best Tiramisu in Auckland (and maybe some Limoncello grazie). Try it before you challenge my judgment And the staff were all so lovely! Great experience, highly recommend if you love a good pasta.
Every dish was so amazing. Everyone must try the potatoes with hazelnut butter, it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. 4.5 stars overall for our experience. For the price you pay I expected better ambience. But the restaurant was fully visible from the main road, no foyer/hallway to separate it. The tables were all along the wall more like a cafe than a nice restaurant. And tables were so squished together, it’s not a place to have intimate conversations. Kitchen took up more than half the place. If only the ambience matched the price and taste it would be 5 stars from me
From the moment we sat down we knew we had chosen a great place to eat. The service was amazing and they were more than happy to spend time with us and go over the menu and explain in detail what each dish was exactly. The Focaccia Bread was the best I have ever tasted, fluffy and so fresh. We had the bread along with the beef tartare and then 2 mains and the rocket salad along with a shared Tiramasu which was more than enough for 2 of us. We spent $200 incl drinks (1 drinker and 1 non drinker)
